R-Mite is a broad spectrum acaricide prepared from varied phytoconstituents inflicting severe mortality on mites affecting different crops. R-Mite is highly effective against red and yellow mites on the crops grown under both polyhouse / shade net house and field conditions. Highly suitable for organic farming and it has zero pre -harvest (PHI) index and re-entry interval (REI). Moreover, recommended for the residue free products for export. R-Mite is recommended for effective management of red and yellow mites that commonly occur on all horticulture, floriculture, spices, oilseeds, pulses in addition to food and fodder crops etc. The application of R-Mite is recommended in the afternoon hours because mite is active in high temperature. In order to check the pest infestation to avoid any damage to the crop it is recommended to apply R-Mite at an interval of 7-8 days or it may be subjected to need based application depending upon the intensity of mite population on the crop. R-Mite is non-compatible with Sulphur, copper base fungicides and Bordeaux mixture.

MODE OF ACTION Application of R-Mite on Red and Yellow mite causes secretion of bodily fluid which leads to killing of the insect and blackening of the body. It desiccates external protein layer of the skin, this results in disintegration of body tissues causing death to the insect. It has great ability to deter oviposition and egg hatching thus stops further mite production. R-Mite’s leaf penetrability makes it doubly effective for the management of mites even present on the underside of the leaf where they feed.
